The Eureka SHM50 model is a composition of carbon material consisting of 75% 30tons High Modulus IMS60 carbon pre-peg + 20% 46tons Ultra High Modulus HS40 Carbon Pre-Peg + 5% 60Tons Super High Modulus XN-60 Carbon Pre-Peg.
The system used includes the technology of high quality composite materials as well as special graphite fiber and epoxy resin. The same system is widely used in the aeronautical, aerospace and automotive industries. The Eureka SHM50 is created using the innovative Advanced VaBm + EPU process, which provides a unique high-level molding process, thanks to its unique technology that affects light weight and very high STW values (stiffness to weight). The Advanced VaBm system is a process in which the air inside the carbon layers is pumped out during the forming process. This increases the stiffness and strength of the carbon frame by approximately 3%. The use of the EPU system increases the strength of the frame by a further 3-5%. The effect of these processes is to obtain a better absorption of the frame for any shocks, which in turn affects the unusual ride comfort, while maintaining a very good response and maneuverability of the bike.
This is the frame used by CCC Sprandi team in the most important races, including Giro d'Italia, Milano Sanremo, Il Lombardia and Dubai Tour.
