One of the most fantastic bikes we had the opportunity to welcome in our shop - the Colnago Master, ridden by none other than Mr. Federico Colonna himself. The bike comes from the private collection of a team member previously associated with Colnago and by an unexpected coincidence we were able to get possession of this beautiful "exhibit" because you can easily call this bike.
Team Mapei transformed from Lampre in 1993 and it was a transitional period also for many hardware changes. The two most important were the steel was abandoned and the carbon bikes displaced this material. Another equally important - Italian equipment - Campagnolo began to have serious competition in the form of Japanese Shimano, which by winning the title after the title quickly displaced "campy" from many teams of the professional peloton.
What we've got here - the Colnago Master "Team Mapei" marked with the M15 engraving - equipped with a full Dura-Ace 7400 group with a beautiful history - a bike that belonged to one of the most titled riders of the legendary Team Mapei. All that remains is a trip to Belgium for the autograph of the former team member.
This is an incredible opportunity for every classic bicycle collector.
